The Keiser Seahawks (10-1, 6-0 SUN) put on a show-stopping performance on Saturday on Senior Day, steamrolling over Florida Memorial (2-10, 2-5 SUN) with a staggering 71-0 win at KU Multi-Purpose Field. Fueled by ten touchdown passes, the Seahawks' offense was unstoppable.
Before the lopsided victory, the Seahawks honored their two seniors (Ciara Harrison and Sophia Caprio) for all that they have contributed to the program.Â
The first quarter set the tone, with Ava Wallace orchestrating a flawless offensive drive. She connected with Tremesha Harris, Dakota Moberg, and Olivia Rijo, culminating in a touchdown just 9:45 into the game. The defense was equally fierce, with Moberg snagging an interception at 7:49, paving the way for another score. Wallace's precision was on display as she found Ashlea Klam for a 38-yard touchdown at 5:01, followed by a 45-yard strike to Klam again at 2:17. Keiser closed the quarter with a commanding 20-0 lead.
In the second quarter, Wallace wasted no time, firing a 5-yard touchdown pass to Sophia Caprio to stretch the lead to 26-0. After an interception by MaKhya Pedro threatened to slow them down, Moberg came through with another interception, returning it 32 yards. Wallace then hit Harris for a 53-yard touchdown, with a successful conversion to Moberg pushing the score to 33-0.
Wallace continued her masterclass, delivering a 16-yard touchdown pass to Klam. Adrienne Rivera added a rushing attempt to bring the score to 40-0. The Seahawks' defense was relentless, keeping FMU scoreless as the half ended with Keiser firmly in control at 40-0.
In the third quarter, Moberg made a splash with a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown at 9:44, and Rivera found Janasia Wilson for a 4-yard score, pushing the lead to 52-0. Keiser wrapped up the quarter with a clear lead.
Rivera kept the momentum in the fourth quarter, connecting with Wilson for a 15-yard touchdown at 4:57. She followed up with a 16-yard pass to Madison Coger, adding to the tally. A Harris interception on FMU's drive set the stage for Caprio to connect with Coger for another 16-yard touchdown, capped by Ciara Harrison's rush for the extra point. The Seahawks claimed a dominant 71-0 victory.
