No. 3 Keiser men's tennis picked up a win over No. 36 Lynn 4-2 on Wednesday at Perper Tennis Complex in Boca Raton, improving to 9-1 on the season. The Seahawks dropped the doubles point after splitting the first two courts and falling on court three, but responded with a dominant singles performance, winning four of the five completed matches to secure the victory.
- Oliver King and Andrew Reznik drew first blood on court two, knocking off Victor Alves and Filip Avdeev 6-1
- Lynn's Louay Makke and Davide Cortimiglia evened things up on court one, topping Didrik Liljekvist and Matthew Dubas 6-4 to knot the doubles at one apiece.
- Lennart Ostheimer and Daniel Azar clinched the doubles point for the Fighting Knights on court three, edging No. 2 Shaheed Alam and Heber Santos 7-5 to give Lynn the early 1-0 lead
- No. 3 Alam got Keiser on the board on court two with his opponent retiring at 5-1 to pull the Seahawks even at 1-1
- Felipe Rivadeneira kept the momentum going on court four, downing Santino Morel 6-4, 6-4
- After Lynn got another point on court three, No. 11 Liljekvist pushed Keiser's lead to 3-2 on court one, rallying past Makke 4-6, 6-1, 6-0 in a three-set battle
- Dubas sealed the match on court five, dismissing Cortimiglia 6-3, 6-1 to clinch the victory
- Santos was nearly through his match on court six, leading 6-3, 5-4
Keiser hits the road for Georgia for a pair of Sun Conference opponents beginning with No. 25 Coastal Georgia on Friday in Brunswick. First serve from the Marta B. Torrey Tennis Center is set for 2:00 p.m.
