No. 3 Men's Tennis Set for Conference Matches Against (rv) New College and No. 4 Southeastern

No. 3 Keiser Men's Tennis returns home to the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center for a pair of Sun Conference matches this weekend. The Seahawks will face (rv) New College of Florida on Friday, March 20 before hosting No. 4 Southeastern on Saturday, March 21. First serve for both matches is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in West Palm Beach.

Scouting the Mighty Banyans: New College enters the match with a 3-4 record and is on a two-match winning streak. Timothy Phung leads the team in singles with a 5-2 record on court one. In doubles, the Mighty Banyans are 7-12 overall, though the newly found pairing of Kanstantin Kukaras and Pedro Lemos is undefeated on court one in the last two matches.

Scouting the Fire: Southeastern enters the weekend with a 8-2 overall record and a seven-match winning streak. The Fire are led by No. 9 Javier Gallego, who holds an 9-1 record split between courts one and two. Southeastern also features other ranked players in its lineup, including No. 12 Piero Fernandez and No. 16 Gonzalo Fernandez. In doubles, Gallego and Piero Fernandez are ranked No. 13 in the NAIA and hold a 6-3 record.
