No. 11 Keiser men's basketball pulled away in the second half to defeat Warner 87-76 on Wednesday evening at the Student Life Center. The victory improved Keiser's record to 19-3 overall, while the Royals dropped to 5-18 on the season.

Keiser came out firing on all cylinders, establishing dominance in the paint and on the boards from the opening tip. The momentum shifted in Keiser's favor midway through the first half when Camerin James threw down a dunk off a steal, igniting the Student Life Center crowd and sparking an 8-0 run that extended the Seahawks' lead to double digits. The Seahawks capitalized on the shift in momentum, dominating the interior with relentless drives to the basket. Cameron Baldwin was virtually unstoppable in the first half, converting all three of his field goal attempts while adding key putbacks and defensive stops. James continued his high-flying assault with 8 first-half points, all coming in the paint as Keiser established their will inside.

The second half saw Warner mount a spirited comeback attempt, with Pace erupting for 17 points after intermission to finish with 19. However, Keiser refused to relinquish control. Loghan Downie came alive in the second half, pouring in 14 of his 16 points that kept Warner's defense on its heels. Nadir Myers showcased his versatility, contributing 11 second-half points to finish with 16, while James added 8 more after the break to reach 16 for the game. The Seahawks' depth proved too much for Warner to overcome, as Keiser opened a 10-point lead off another James slam dunk to keep the Royals away.

Keiser will be back on the road on Saturday evening when they travel to (rv) Southeastern. Tipoff from the Furnace in Lakeland, Fla. is set for 7:00 p.m.
