WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – (rv) Keiser softball swept a home doubleheader Saturday over Florida National, rolling to a dominant 13-0 run-rule victory in the opener before holding on for a 6-5 win in the nightcap to complete the sweep. The Seahawks were lethal at the plate in game and showed resilience in game two, combining for 23 hits on the afternoon.

Keiser came out swinging in the opener, plating four runs in each of the first two innings before adding five more in the third to put the game well out of reach. Sarah Phipps was the offensive catalyst, delivering a 3-for-3 performance with five RBI and a double. Genesis Iglesias knocked in two runs and scored twice, while Macy Schaaf added two RBI of her own and also crossed the plate twice. Faith Campos reached base repeatedly, drawing two walks and scoring twice, and Trinity Rohrer went 2-for-3 with a double to keep the line moving throughout.

The Seahawks finished with 13 hits and 13 runs in the one. On the mound, Mackenzie Masternak was dominant, spinning 3.1 innings of two-hit, shutout ball with three strikeouts to improve to 7-1 on the season before Olivia Solerno came on in relief to close out the run-rule victory.

Game two was a far tighter contest, but the Seahawks found a way to get it done. Faith Campos set the tone all game long, going 3-for-4 with a double and scoring three times to provide the spark Keiser needed at the top of the lineup. Schaaf came through once again with a two-RBI double and scored a run, and Iglesias went 2-for-3 with two RBI to continue her strong doubleheader. The biggest individual moment of the game came from Jordan Brantley, who launched a solo home run to help extend the lead when Keiser needed it most. Sarah Phipps chipped in with an RBI as well to round out the Seahawks' offense.

The Conquistadors made things interesting, scratching across five runs on 10 hits to stay within striking distance throughout, but the Seahawks never surrendered the lead for good. Masternak started in the circle before Presley Wright took over and worked two scoreless innings to steady things, and Maggie Miller finished the final two frames to earn the win and improve to 3-0 on the season, securing the sweep for Keiser.
