LAKELAND, Fla. – The Keiser University softball team continued its impressive start to the 2026 season on Tuesday afternoon, sweeping a neutral‑site doubleheader against Mobile (Ala.) at Southeastern University. The Seahawks took the opener 3–2 behind timely hitting and a complete‑game performance from Mackenzie Masternak before completing the sweep with a 3–0 victory in Game Two, improving to 11–1 on the season.

Mobile jumped ahead early with an RBI double in the first inning, but Keiser responded with composed, timely offense. In the third, Kaci Kidd delivered the key swing of the game, ripping a two‑run double to left‑center, scoring Sarah Phipps and Jordan Brantley to give the Seahawks a 2–1 lead. One inning later, Trinity Rohrer extended the advantage with a solo home run to center, pushing the lead to 3–1.

Mobile added a run in the seventh on a double, tightening the score to 3–2, but Mackenzie Masternak closed the door with a composed finish to secure the complete‑game victory. Masternak threw 7.0 innings, allowing 9 hits, 2 earned runs, and striking out one, moving to 6–0 on the season.

Keiser controlled the nightcap from the opening innings, striking first in the third when Genesis Iglesias doubled through the left side to score Tessa DiPietra, giving the Seahawks a 1–0 edge. In the fifth, Faith Campos continued her strong afternoon by blasting a triple to left‑center, scoring Kidd to extend the lead to 2–0. Campos later came home on a wild pitch during Macy Schaaf's plate appearance, completing Keiser's three‑run frame.

Pitching dominated the remainder of the game as Maggie Miller was exceptional in the circle, delivering a complete‑game shutout. The senior allowed just three hits with three strikeouts and no walks, improving to 1–0 on the year with a 0.51 ERA through 13.2 innings. Keiser's defense backed Miller with clean execution, turning a double play and committing no errors in the win.
