AVE MARIA, Fla. – Keiser women's basketball secured a commanding 62-49 victory over Ave Maria on Saturday afternoon at Tom Golisano Field House, improving their record to 18-6 overall and 10-4 in conference play.

Caidyn Cannon paced the Seahawks with a game-high 17 points, dominating at the free-throw line by converting 9-of-11 attempts. Cannon also pulled down seven rebounds and added two steals in 30 minutes of action. Satori Griffin added 12 points on 4-of-16 shooting, including three crucial three-pointers, while hauling in eight rebounds. Emelia O'Gilvie contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, and three steals in a well-rounded performance. Carolina de Domingo chipped in the offense with a team-high five assists while adding six steals and four points. Her defensive presence was instrumental in Keiser's ability to force 13 turnovers.

The Seahawks started slowly, trailing 13-10 after the first quarter, but found their rhythm in the second period. A strong third quarter proved decisive, as Keiser outscored Ave Maria 21-9 to take a 46-37 lead into the final frame. Griffin caught fire in the third quarter, scoring nine of her 12 points and knocking down two three-pointers to spark the Seahawks' offensive surge.

The fourth quarter saw the Seahawks close out the game with Keiser clinging to a 53-46 lead midway through the period, the team went on a run punctuated by strong free-throw shooting. Cannon and de Domingo each converted clutch free throws down the stretch, with de Domingo sinking four attempts in the final two minutes to help seal the victory. 

The Seahawks' defense was stifling, recording 16 steals led by de Domingo's six. Keiser shot 33.3% from the field but compensated with aggressive play, attempting 27 free throws and converting 74.1% from the charity stripe. The Seahawks also controlled the boards with a 35-32 rebounding advantage.
