No. 1 Keiser men's tennis began their 2026 ITA NAIA National Men's Team Indoor Championship run with a convincing victory over No. 11 Our Lady of the Lake in the quarterfinal, 4-0. The Seahawks cruised to a pair of wins in doubles before grabbing wins on courts one, two, and four in singles play.
- In singles, No. 26 Matej Laibl kicked it off with a 6-0, 6-2 win over 50 Corentin Fusaro
- Keiser pulled within one of the victory when No. 2 Alam won his match on court two, 6-0, 6-2
- Liljekvist clinched the match on court one with a 6-2, 6-2 win, taking the last four games of set two to secure the point
- King was leading on court six at the conclusion of the match with courts three and five in favor of the Saints
When asked about today's result, Head Coach
Ali Borhani had this to say: "I'd like to thank the boys for making this first one so sweet and memorable! Few of the boys stepped up BIG when we needed them. Now we rest and get ready for the next one tomorrow night!"
The Seahawks will face No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan in the ITA NAIA National Men's Team Indoor Semifinal on Saturday, February 7. First serve is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
