The Keiser Seahawks opened their 2026 season in dominant fashion Wednesday evening, rolling past (rv) St. Thomas 19-6 at AutoNation Field in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Keiser set the tone early, exploding out of the gates with seven goals in the opening quarter. Kate Griffin had a hat trick in the first quarter, while Baylee Walker added two goals to help the Seahawks build a commanding 7-2 advantage after 15 minutes. The Seahawks controlled possession and peppered the St. Thomas goalkeeper with nine shots in the period.
The second quarter saw both defenses tighten up considerably. Keiser still managed to knock in two goals over the next 15 minutes with the Bobcats keeping the pace with two of their own to make it 9-4 at halftime.

Keiser came out firing again in the third quarter, with six different scorers tallying a goal and the Seahawks taking complete control. Reese Lynch and Mikayla Madden tallied their first goals of their careers, helping Keiser extend the lead to 15-5 heading into the final period. Jia Schweigert and Baylee Walker closed out their nights by finishing their respective hat tricks as Keiser cruised to a 19-6 victory.

Keiser's next game will be the home opener against No. 6 Reinhardt on Monday, February 16. The opening draw control from the Multi-Purpose Field in West Palm Beach, Fla. is set for 1:00 p.m.
