series

Coastal Georgia
  • Keiser is 13-5 all-time against Coastal Georgia
  • Last season, the Seahawks got their largest two wins in series history, winning by 51 on the road then by 41 at home less than two weeks later
  • The 51-point win was the largest in conference play since December 5, 2009 for KU
  • On the home floor, Keiser has won seven straight against the Mariners

St. Thomas
  • The Seahawks hold a slight 24-19 advantage over the Bobcats all time
  • Saturday will be the first repeat matchup this season as Keiser defeated St. Thomas 73-67 on November 15, 2025
  • The Seahawks and Bobcats are an even 10-10 on the road in the series with KU evening up the series last season with a 70-61 win
  • Over the last four games, it has been a battle to 70 points as the losing team has always been held below that mark

story
  • Keiser comes into the week with a 14-3 overall record
  • The Seahawks have dropped their last two matchups in Sun Conference action and sit at 5-2
  • Despite the losses, the Seahawks are still third in the conference and have a win over Southeastern who is currently one game ahead in second
  • Keiser is hoping that last week was an anomaly as the Seahawks shot well below average from the floor and from three-point range
  • Keiser's average from the field still sits at 50.1% which is still good for 16th in the NAIA while their three-point percentage dropped to 25th in the NAIA at 37.7%
  • One area that the Seahawks did improve on is their efficiency from the free-throw line where KU had their best and fifth-best nights from the line all season
  • KU also posted their best night of rebounding all year on the offensive end with 18 offensive rebounds against Florida Memorial
  • The Keiser defense has not backed down, in fact it has been better in the month of January, as they are holding opponents to just 66 points per game
  • The Seahawks are averaging 4.2 blocks per game since the start of the new year and are still ranked in the top 5 in the NAIA at 5.8 blocks per game
  • On the offensive end of the floor, Camerin James will be looked at to get back to his scoring ways as he is the only Seahawk averaging more than 11 points per game
  • Jackson Slater is seeing his scoring averages go up this season as he is now sitting at 10.1 points per game
  • Coastal Georgia comes into the matchup with an 8-10 record this year
  • The Mariners are coming off a one-point loss to Webber International on Saturday
  • Coastal Georgia is never out of their games as they are within 10 points of their opponents in seven of their 10 losses
  • St. Thomas is 11-8 heading into the week and is set to play New College of Florida on Wednesday
  • The Bobcats had won four straight before dropping a tight contest to No. 5 Ave Maria on Saturday, 74-70
  • STU also has a strong record at home, sitting at 5-1 this season
