Keiser men's tennis released their 2026 spring schedule on Friday. The Seahawks are set to play 17 matches this spring, including four home matches at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, Fla.
The defending NAIA National Champions will be looking to make another run at the title under first-year head coach Ali Borhani. The team will face two NCAA Division II teams, one NCAA Division III team, and nine NAIA opponents this spring. The Seahawks are returning a majority of their roster from last season including NAIA All-Americans Shaheed Alam and Didrik Liljekvist. Alam has already had a strong start to the year with a pair of finals appearances at the ITA Cup. He went 8-1 in the fall in singles and paired with Heber Santos in doubles to reach the ITA Cup final.
Coach Borhani had this to say about the schedule: "We're excited to start the season and see the guys put in the hard work from the fall into action. This schedule is challenging, but it will prepare us well for conference play and postseason."
- The Seahawks are set to face three Division II teams, one Division III team, and eight NAIA schools over the course of the 2026 spring season
- The competitive level will be as high as always, with the Seahawks facing seven teams ranked in their respective divisions
- Keiser opens their 2026 slate with Division II, No. 1 Barry, who have won seven D-II titles
- The Seahawks will then make their return to the ITA NAIA National Men's Team Indoor Championship in Rome, Ga., on February 13 through February 15
- A week later, KU will head to West Palm Beach, Fla., for a match against Palm Beach Atlantic (NCAA DII) on February 23rd.
- Two days later, February 25th will be the first Sun Conference match for the Seahawks when they face St. Thomas at home, in Boca Raton, Fla.
- The Sun Conference Tournament is once again scheduled to take place in Brunswick, Ga., with the opening round set for Friday, April 22
- The NAIA National Tournament will be held in Mobile, Alabama, for a 22nd consecutive season on May 13-17
