The Keiser women's cross country team had three individuals compete at the Keiser University Invitational, with sophomore Camilla Romero leading the way for the Seahawks. Romero crossed the line in 21:21.4, setting the pace for the KU women.
She was followed by fellow sophomore Eva Vrancken, who ran 25:08.4, and Daniela Logrono, who finished in 28:43.2. Logrono highlighted the group's progress, improving her time by 13.6 seconds from last year's race and set her new PR time.

"Our women showed determination today," said coach
Harvey Simpson. "Camilla put together a strong run, Eva continues to gain confidence, and Daniela really impressed by cutting time off her performance from last year. That kind of improvement is exactly what we're looking for."

The Seahawks will head to Miami Gardens, Florida, on September 12th for the STU Bobcat Invitational, hosted by St. Thomas University. Races begin at 8:00 a.m.
