The 17th-ranked Keiser men's soccer team opened the 2025 season in dominant fashion, blanking Spring Arbor, 6-0, on Thursday morning in West Palm Beach. Manu Cordeviola opened the scoring in the 28th minute, and the Seahawks carried a 1-0 advantage into halftime. Playing a man up after a Cougar red card just after the break, Keiser exploded for five second-half goals to seal the decisive victory.

Keiser returns to Arrigo-Veccellio Field this Saturday, September 6th, to host Mid-America Christian University at 11:00 a.m. After a dominant home opener, the Seahawks look to carry their early-season momentum into their second straight home matchup.

How it Happened
  • Keiser looked sharp from the opening whistle, keeping the pressure on Spring Arbor's back line with long spells of possession.
  • The breakthrough came in the 28th minute when Keanu Does slipped a pass through to Cordeviola, who calmly finished for the first goal of the season and a 1-0 Seahawk lead.
  • The Seahawks nearly doubled their advantage before halftime with chances from Mikael Baisotti, but Spring Arbor's keeper kept the scoreline at 1-0 heading into the break.
  • The match shifted heavily in Keiser's favor just after the restart when a Cougar red card in the 50th minute left the visitors down to 10 men.
  • Keiser wasted no time taking advantage as Baisotti scored less than a minute later, again set up by Does, to make it 2-0.
  • In the 56th minute, Does added his own name to the scoresheet, slotting home a third goal as the floodgates opened.
  • Mohammed Mouzoune extended the lead to 4-0 in the 76th minute, finishing off a sequence built by Leon Sy Birgersson and Ethan Barimo.
  • Four minutes later, Birgersson added a goal of his own off passes from Eric Bancel and Tristan Silva.
  • The scoring concluded less than a minute later when Sergio Padin pounced inside the box, slotting home Keiser's sixth of the day.
