The No. 3-ranked Keiser men's golf team delivered a wire-to-wire victory at the Invite at Innisbrook, posting a three-round team score of 856 (+4) to secure the championship on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort. The Seahawks finished 24 strokes ahead of second-place Ave Maria.
Yann Ferrando led the way for Keiser, finishing runner-up individually with a 210 (-3). Ferrando closed strong with a final-round 67 (-4), the lowest score by a Seahawk in the tournament.
Jack Peters and Iver Sokhan-Sanj tied for third at 214 (+1), keeping Keiser firmly atop the leaderboard with consistent play across all three rounds. Peters opened with a 70 (-1) and Sokhan-Sanj matched that mark in round one before closing with an even-par 71.
Rounding out the scoring lineup was Matus Cedzo, who tied for 14th at 220 (+7), while Fridtjof Farhang contributed with a 223 (+10) which tied for 26th.
As a team, Keiser opened with a 285 (+1) in round one, matched it in the final round, and added a 288 (+4) in round two.Â
In total, Keiser placed three golfers inside the Top 5 and four inside the Top 15 in the 100-player field.
With the tournament win, Keiser has posted a top-5 finish in nine straight events, dating back to last year.
