The 2025-26 season teed off with the 2025 Seahawk Shootout as the No. 3-ranked men's golf team placed fourth in a field of 13 teams, posting a 14-over, 878. Played at PGA National's Fazio Course, this year's tournament was won by Eastern Florida State with a 1-under, 863. Freshman Matus Cedzo (playing as an individual) dominated the field with rounds of 67 (-5), 69 (-3), and 68 (-4) to post a tournament-best 204 (-12). Cedzo claimed medalist honors by six strokes, standing as the only player to finish double digits under par. The tournament was the first win of his Seahawk career.
Senior Yann Ferrando paced the squad, tying for fourth individually with a steady 213 (-3), including an opening-round 69 (-3). Jack Peters added a tie for 10th at +2 (218), while Iver Sokhan-Sanj tied for 22nd at 222 (+6).
With the fourth-place finish, Keiser has posted a top-5 finish in eight straight events, dating back to last year.
