Seahawks Down Warriors in Straight Sets Saturday Night, 3-0

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. –  Keiser volleyball rolled past Webber International in straight sets, 3–0 (25–15, 25–20, 25–20), at the Student Life Center on Saturday night. The Seahawks, now 6–5 overall and 2–1 in Sun Conference play, controlled the pace from the opening serve and never trailed by more than two points in any set.

The Seahawks' balanced offense was led by junior outside hitter Makenzi Bennett, who posted 11 kills on .292 hitting and added nine digs. Isabella Steffel connected for nine kills on .389 hitting while also recording a service ace and a block assist. Aubree Valcourt provided eight kills and three block assists in a commanding presence at the net, while Mallory Dills expertly directed the attack with 41 assists—her second-highest total of the season—while also adding five digs and a kill. Faith Marquis anchored a stout back row with a match-high 16 digs, keeping Webber's offense out of rhythm throughout the evening.

Keiser set the tone early in the first set, breaking open a tight 10–8 contest with a 7–0 run fueled by Valcourt's blocking and Bennett's swings, forcing the Warriors into multiple errors. The Seahawks carried that momentum into the second frame, where Webber International briefly tied the score at 17–17 before Steffel and Bennett combined for four late kills to close out the set, 25–20. The third set proved to be the most competitive, with eight ties and two lead changes, but Keiser's composure down the stretch—highlighted by kills from Steffel, Marina Maia, and Bennett—secured the match.

The Seahawks' defense was equally impressive, limiting Webber to a .077 hitting percentage while out-digging the Warriors, 56–42. Keiser also out-blocked the Warriors, 4–3, and held a decisive 46–24 advantage in kills. The victory marked Keiser's second straight conference sweep at home.
