No. 1 Women's Golf Begins 2025-26 Season with the Seahawk Shootout

The No. 1-ranked Keiser women's golf team open the 2025-26 campaign with the 2025 Seahawk Shootout September 15-16. The three-round, two-day event will feature golfers from 18 different teams. Of those teams, 10 are represented in the preseason NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25, including three of the top four teams in the nation.

The Seahawks closed out the 2024-25 season, registering their 10th top-5 finish in the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship with a second-place finish. The Seahawks shot a 41-over, 1,193 as Keiser placed in the top 2 of the national tournament for the third straight year.

The Seahawks ended the 2024-25 season as the NAIA National Runner-Up, marking the team's third straight top-2 finish at the NAIA Tournament. The Seahawks finished in the top-5, 10 times, including the team's third straight Sun Conference title. With six tournament championships on the year, Keiser has seven all-America honors as well as the NAIA WGCA Freshman of the Year Presented by StrackaLine (Sophia Sindersberger) and the Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride (Brandon Miller).

 1. Sophia Sindersberger - So. / Zurich, Switzerland
Last year's NAIA WGCA Freshman of the Year Presented by StrackaLine, Sindersberger appeared in 10 events for the season, posting six top-10 finishes and three in the top five. She placed seventh at the NAIA National Championship and ended the year with an adjusted scoring average of 73.5

2. Linda Stamm - Gr. / Heiligenhaus, Germany
A newcomer to the Keiser program, Stamm will be making her Seahawks debut on Monday. In international competition, Stamm finished second in Port El Kantaoui Junior Open and sixth in Dutch Amateur Championship this past year

3. Luz Maria Ardila - Sr. / Bogota, Colombia 
Ardila enters her fourth year with the Seahawks and is coming off a year where she was named an NAIA All-American for the second time in her career. She finished the year with an adjusted scoring average of 75.2

4. Faye Wheatley - Jr. / Newcastle, England
Wheatley made two appearances last season, finishing the year with an adjusted scoring average of 86.2

5. Erla Berglind Baldursdottir - So. / Reykjavik, Iceland
Baldursdottir comes to Keiser after spending a year with Fresno State. She competed in seven tournaments for the Bulldogs, posting an adjusting scoring average of 79.3

Individual

Aoli Liu - So. / Quanzhou, China
Liu returns for her second year with the women's golf team. She appeared in one event for the Seahawks a year ago, posting an adjusted scoring average of 74.9 
 
Herry Ji - Fr. / London, England
Ji will be making her Keiser debut on Monday. The native of London, England, has had a successful amateur career, including wins at the London Foursomes (2024), the Burhill Championships (2023), and the South Region Stroke Play (2023) 
 
Ziqi Gao - Jr. / Beijing, China
Gao appeared in all 10 events for the Seahawks last season. She had a fourth-place finish in the Sun Conference Championship and ended the year with an adjusted scoring average of 77.2 
 
Sierra Yeomans - So. / Lakewood Ranch, Florida
Yeomans enters her second season with the Seahawks. She appeared in two events last season, posting an adjusted scoring average of 86.4
