WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Keiser Volleyball wrapped up the Palm Beach Juniors Round Robin with a strong showing on their home court, earning a straight-set sweep in their opening match before coming up short in a hard-fought contest later in the afternoon.
The day began with the Seahawks firing on all cylinders. Keiser earned a convincing 3-0 win, taking the sets 25-17, 25-16, and 25-20 over Columbia (SC). The offense was balanced and efficient, hitting .222 as a team while keeping consistent pressure on the Koalas.
Aubree Valcourt led the charge with 11 kills, swinging at an outstanding .533 clip to pace the Seahawks at the net. Setter Mallory Dills orchestrated the attack beautifully, dishing out 29 assists and keeping the offense in rhythm while also adding three aces from the service line. The supporting cast stepped up as well, with Isabella Steffel contributing five kills and Cece Worsham adding three. Both played a part defensively at the net, helping Keiser control momentum throughout the match.
Later in the afternoon, Keiser returned to the court for their second match of the day, which proved to be a tighter contest across three sets. The Seahawks battled in every frame, especially in the second set where they pushed the score to 23-25 before narrowly falling short.
Worsham once again showcased her offensive power, finishing with 11 kills to go along with a service ace and a solo block. Dills remained steady as the team's floor general, handing out 27 assists while keeping Keiser's offense engaged against the (rv) Lancers.
With several standout performances and clear growth as a team, Keiser will look to build on the positives as they move deeper into the schedule.

The Seahawks will host Warner in the start of conference play at 2:00 PM on Sept. 6th.
