Seahawks Nation, we continue with the 2024-25 Keiser Athletics Moment of the Year Tournament with the quarterfinals.
We started with 12 and are now down to eight.
The opening round saw baseball advance with a walk-off win in the NAIA Regionals as well as women's soccer punching their ticket to NAIA National Championship Game, pushing them to the quarters. Also, winning were Swim of the Year performances by
Noel De Geus and
Nikoline Biltoft-Jensen.

This week, there are four matchups in the quarterfinals.
Without further ado, here they are.....
No. 1 seed - Men's Tennis wins first National Championship
For the first time in program history, Keiser men's tennis won the NAIA National Championship, defeating No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett 4-2 in Mobile, Alabama. The win snaps a run of 10 consecutive wins in the NAIA National Championship by Georgia Gwinnett and a four-time runner-up streak by the Seahawks. After the match,
Yassir Kilani was named the Ward-Ballinger Memorial Outstanding Player. Additionally,
Robert McAdoo was named the NAIA Coach of the Year.
No. 9 seed - Baseball Walk-off win in NAIA Tournament
In a high-stakes matchup to open the NAIA National Championship Opening Round, the (rv) Seahawks delivered a dramatic 10-9 walk-off win over No. 14 Houston-Victoria. Down by one in the bottom of the ninth, the Seahawks plated two runs to defeat the Jaguars and improve to 36-15 on the year.
No. 2 seed - Men's Lacrosse National Championship OT Winner

Kegan Hufford tied a career-high, scoring six goals, including the overtime game-winner, as the No. 1-ranked Keiser men's lacrosse team defeated the No. 4-ranked Cumberlands (Ky.) Patriots, 14-13, in the NAIA National Championship Game. The win was the Seahawk's third straight National Championship, having won the NAIA Invitational crown in 2023 and 2024.
No. 6 seed - Men's Swimming Swim of the Year
Noel De Geus garners Swim of the Year honors with his performance in the 100 meter breaststroke, helping the Seahawks collect their 6th National Championship.
No. 3 seed - Football Comeback win in NAIA Semifinal
Trailing 38-21 with 7:38 left in the game, the No. 1-ranked Keiser football team (12-0) scored 21 unanswered points in the final six minutes, defeating the No. 9-ranked Benedictine (Kan.) Ravens (11-3), 42-38, to earn the team's third straight NAIA National Championship Game appearance.
Elisha Edwards scored the game-winner on a 25-yard pass from Spencer with 21 second left in the game.
No. 7 seed - Women's Swimming Swim of the Year
Nikoline Biltoft-Jensen earned Swim of the Year at Nationals in the 100 yard breaststroke to help her team win their fourth consecutive Red Banner.
No. 4 seed - Flag Football SportsCenter Top Play
The Keiser flag football team's
Brenna Ramirez became SportsCenter's Top Play with an acrobatic catch during the Seahawk's 35-0 win over the St. Thomas Bobcats in the Sun Conference Semifinals. The catch sparked Keiser's scoring as the Seahawks went on to claim their 13th win all-time over the Bobcats as well as producing the team's sixth shutout of STU all-time.
No. 5 seed - Women's Soccer OT Winner in NAIA Semis
It was late-night drama again for No. 2 Keiser women's soccer, who delivered late to punch their ticket to the NAIA National Championship in Pensacola, Florida. In their second overtime at the Final Site, it was
Maria Vilhena who sent a missile from outside the box into the back of the net to send Keiser to the NAIA National Championship.
