No. 3 Men's Golf

Seven Seahawks Earn 2024-25 GCAA PING All-Region Honors

Seven members of the No. 1-ranked Keiser men's golf team were named to the NAIA PING All-South Region team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday afternoon.

Adam Buchanan, First Year, Ballyclare, Northern Ireland
  • Named to the all-region team for the first time
  • Earn the Sun Conference Freshman of the Year honor
  • Named to the All-Sun Conference Team for the first time
  • Appeared in nine events for the Seahawks for a total of 27 rounds
  • Had five top-10 finishes with four in the top five
  • Won the Sun Conference Championship, posting an 8-under, 208 (70-67-71)
  • Shot a low-round, 54-hole, 196 at this year's Seahawk Shootout (Sept. 16-17)
  • Notched a top-5 finish at the Roadrunner Classic (April 7-8), tying for fourth with a 1-over, 217
  • Carded another top-5 finish, tying for fifth with a 4-over, 220, at the Battle at Laughlin Ranch (March 24-25)
  • Entered the Sun Conference Tournament with an adjusted scoring average of  70.8
  • Named the Sun Conference Golfer of the Week (April 14)
  • Currently ranked No. 12 by clippd
 

Dimitri David - So. / Pirae, Tahiti
  • Named to the all-region team for the first time
  • Appeared in six events for the Seahawks for a total of 17 rounds
  • Posted two top-5 finishes
  • Placed second in the Boynton Beach Bash (Oct. 24), shooting an even par
  • Finished fifth in the Seahawk Shootout with a 4-under (Sept. 16-17)
  • Posted an adjusted season stroke average of 71.7
  • Currently ranked No.40 by clippd
 

Yann Ferrando, Second Year, Biscarose, France
  • Named to the all-region team for the first time
  • Named to the All-Sun Conference Team for the second straight year
  • Appeared in nine events for the Seahawks for a total of 27 rounds
  • Had two top-10 finishes 
  • Finished seventh at the 2024 Seahawk Shootout (Sept. 16-17), shooting a 1-under, 200
  • Shot a low-round, 54-hole, 200 at this year's Seahawk Shootout
  • Entered the Sun Conference Tournament with an adjusted scoring average of  71.7
  • Currently ranked No. 44 by clippd



Nateesh Ganesh, First Year, Malacca, Malaysia
  • Named to the all-region team for the first time
  • Named to the All-Sun Conference Team for the first time
  • Appeared in eight events for the Seahawks for a total of 23 rounds
  • Had three top-10 finishes with two tournament wins
  • A two-time Sun Conference Golfer of the Week
  • Named the NAIA Golfer of the Week (March 19)
  • Shot a low-round, 54-hole, 207 at this year's Kona Ice Keiser Kup
  • Entered the Sun Conference Tournament with an adjusted scoring average of  70.9
  • Currently ranked No. 11 by clippd
 

James Murray, Fourth Year, George, South Africa
  • Named to the all-region team for the first time
  • Appeared in six events for the Seahawks for a total of 18 rounds
  • Had two top-10 finishes, with one in the top five
  • Finished tied for fifth at the 2024 Seahawk Shootout (Sept. 16-17) with a 4-under, 197
  • Shot a low-round, 54-hole, 197 at this year's Seahawk Shootout
  • Entered the Sun Conference Tournament with an adjusted scoring average of 71.3
  • Currently ranked No. 28 by clippd
 

William Brun Solum, Second Year, Tonsberg, Norway
  • Named to the all-region team for the first time
  • Earned Sun Conference Golfer of the Year honors
  • Named to the All-Sun Conference Team for the first time
  • Appeared in seven events for the Seahawks for a total of 20 rounds
  • Had five top-10 finishes with three in the top five
  • Finished tied for third in the Sun Conference Championship, shooting a 3-under, 213
  • Shot a low-round, 54-hole, 206 at this year's Seahawk Shootout (Sept. 16-17)
  • Carded a 208 at the Kona Ice Keiser Kup to finish second (March 9-11)
  • Posted a 5-under, 211, at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invitatonal (Feb. 10-11), placing tied for third 
  • Recorded a top-10 finish in 71.4 percent of the events played this season
  • Has posted a 347-60-10 record versus NAIA opponents this season
  • Following the Sun Conference Tournament Brun Solum has recorded an adjusted scoring average of 70.6
  • Currently ranked No. 9 by clippd
 

Jan Sustek, First Year, Brno, Czech Republic
  • Named to the all-region team for the first time
  • Appeared in five events for the Seahawks for a total of 14 rounds
  • Notched three top-5 finishes
  • Finished fifth in the Coastal Georgia Men's Winter Invitational, shooting a 3-under (Feb. 10-11)
  • Shot a 2-over for a fifth-place finish at the Boynton Beach Bash (Oct. 24)
  • Opened the season with second-place finish with a 5-under at the Seahawk Shootout (Spet .16-17)
  • Has recorded an adjusted scoring average of 71.0
  • Currently ranked No. 19 by clippd
 


The Seahawks will travel to Silvis, Illinois, for the 73rd Annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championship May 20-23. The championship will be held at TPC Deere Run.
