Coach's Corner

When asked about today's result, Head Coach Daniel Finn had this to say: "Good road win against a gritty team in their place. Always happy to get these wins."

On being challenged for the first time in a while, "Today we had to battle through some adversity. Obviously, playing a match without the number one player in the country and your cornerstone player is never easy. Then you add on a four-hour drive and a hostile environment against a feisty team. Even with all of that, I thought the team handled themselves well, and most importantly, found a way to win points when needed. Credit to Saint Leo. They never quit and kept fighting to the end. Getting a win today was something we had to do the ugly way, but these are the ones you want to go through and be able to put in your belt to take with you when we get into some more high-pressure moments in the postseason."
