The Keiser flag football team wrapped up its home portion of the 2025 regular season with a pair of shutout victories on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks defeated Atlantis University, 67-0, followed by a 7-0 win over Florida Gateway.
Producing 439 yards of total offense on the day, the Seahawks added to their nation's-leading scoring total (654 points) with a 74-point output on Saturday. Defensively, the Seahawks forced five interceptions, increasing their total to 42 on the season (No. 1 in the nation).

Haylie Young finished the day with 374 yards on 32-of-46 passing with six touchdowns. The reigning Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week set the school record for touchdown passes in a season with 62 following Saturday's performance.
Ashlea Klam scored a total of three touchdowns on Saturday, recording two receiving touchdowns and one pick six. In all, Klam registered two interceptions to increase her season total to 10 (No. 1 in the nation). She is two shy of setting the school's single-season record (11 -
Sydney Woodman in 2024).
Sa'mya Bryant collected nine flag pulls on Saturday, moving just eight flag pulls from reach 300 for her career.
Adrianna Cavalotti increased her career interception total to 25 with a pick six in Keiser's first game of the day. The interception for a touchdown was her sixth of the year, setting the new single-season mark at Keiser.
The Seahawks opened the day with a a lopsided victory, 67-0 over first-time opponent Atlantis University. Back-to-back receiving touchdowns by Chole Griffin set the tone in the first quarter as Keisr jumped out to a 14-0 lead with just under minutes left in the first. Griffin ended the contest with a team-high 72 yards receiving. With a 27-0 lead late in the second quarter, the Seahawk's defense flexed it muscle, recording consecutive pick sixes as Cavalotti returned an interception 15 yards followed by a 26-yard return by Klam. Both scores took place just 40 seconds apart. After putting up 48 points in the first half, Keiser added 19 more to close out the 67-point victory. Keiser held AU to 76 yards of total offense.
Game two was more of a defensive battle as the Seahawks earned their first victory over the Timberwolves of Florida Gateway. FGC, who was just one of Keiser's two losses last season, held the Seahawks to 0-of-7 on third-down conversions. The only score of the game was a 20-yard touchdown pass from Young to
Sophia Caprio with 3:41 left in the third. For Caprio, it was her eighth touchdown of the 2025 campaign. FGC pushed Keiser to the limit, driving down to the the KU nine-yard line with one second left in the contest. But,
Kennedy Foster made the defensive play of the game, breaking up a pass from Kayla Ludwig to Tremesha Harris in the endzone as time expired.
The shutouts increased the team's total to 28 all-time and extended the Seahawk's home winning streak to 15 games.
The Seahawks will head to Babson Park, Florida, to take on the Webber Int'l Warriors on Thursday, April 10
