With the Mariners not able to field a full lineup, the Seahawks needed just one win in doubles which came on court two. In singles, the two needed wins came on courts four and five.
- Apisah got the free pass on court six to make it 2-0
- No. 26 Mercante followed on court four with a 6-0, 6-2 win
- The match was clinched on court five with Vidanovic downing Lela Johnson 6-1, 6-0
- All three remaining courts were in favor of the Seahawks when the match was finished
When asked about today's result, Head Coach
Daniel Finn had this to say: "Happy to get on and off the court and just take care of business today. That was the main focus going in, and I thought they handled their business for the most part."
Keiser will be back on the courts tomorrow, March 29 against No. 10 SCAD Savannah. First serve from Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, Fla. is set for 1:00 p.m.
