(rv) Keiser softball split a doubleheader today versus No. 14 Southeastern. Keiser fell 2-10 in the first game, but rallied to a walk-off win in the second game.

- Maggie Miller pitched the first five innings, and later returned to the circle in the final inning (87 pitches)
- Anne Melle pitched one inning in relief (52 pitches)
- The Seahawks were only able to muster three hits to Southeastern's 17, and also committed two errors

- The Fire took the lead on a Keiser throwing error

- The Seahawks tied up the game when Bridget Dunham scored on a Southeastern fielding error

- The Fire plated another run with an RBI single to centerfield

- Faith Campos stole second base, and two errors by Southeastern allowed the speedy outfielder to race all the way home

- Southeastern started a long scoring run, started by a walk with the bases loaded
- A 2 RBI double from the Fire stretched their advantage
- SEU went up by seven on a pair of RBI singles

- The Fire plated an insurance run on an RBI single to right field

- Lizzy Small pitched her 48th career complete game, striking out three batters (107 pitches)
- The Seahawks used a big fourth inning to rally, and walked off the game in the seventh

- SEU took the lead on a three run homer to left field

- Tessa DiPietra kickstarted a two-out rally when she induced a three base error from Southeastern, allowing Genesis Iglesias to score
- Ashley Bullock put Keiser back in the game with an RBI double to center field that brought home DiPietra
- Lancie Macicek scored Bullock with an RBI single
- Kelsey Ganci put KU in the lead with an RBI single over the head of the SEU shortstop that scored Macicek

- Southeastern tied the game up with an RBI triple
KU 5, SEU 4

- Southeastern was able to extend the game with an RBI single through the left side
KU 6, SEU 5
- Keiser was locked in with a chance to walk off the game, and Kelsey Ganci got things started with a walk
- Macy Schaaf entered the game as a pinch runner, and stole second base
- Faith Campos moved Schaaf to third base with a single to center field
- Lizzy Small ended the game with a sacrifice fly to right field, giving Keiser its eighth win over a ranked team in the John Pryor era

The Seahawks will travel to Brunswick, Ga. this weekend for a three game series versus (rv) Coastal Georgia. First pitch of game one is set for 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
