(rv) Keiser softball secured a series victory today in a doubleheader sweep of (rv) Coastal Georgia. The Seahawks won the first game 5-3, and fended off a Mariners comeback to win the second game 8-7. The Seahawks now have back-to-back series wins versus CCGA for the first time in program history.

- Maggie Miller mowed down the Mariners tossing 11 strikeouts, one short of tying a Keiser single game record (115 pitches)
- The Seahawks were able to consistently put runners on base, and took game one thanks to a powerful pitching performance from Maggie Miller

- Keiser took the early lead on an RBI double from Iglesias
- Tessa DiPietra brought Iglesias home with her own RBI double

- Lizzy Small pitched the first 5.2 innings, collecting a season high six strikeouts (100 pitches)
- Maggie Miller pitched the final 1.1 innings recording her sixth career save, setting a new Keiser program record (16 pitches)
- The Seahawks scored runs in all but two innings and plated eight runs, the most versus CCGA in program history since 2014

The Seahawks will go for the sweep in the series finale tomorrow, with first pitch set for 12:00 p.m in Brunswick, Ga.
