No. 1 Keiser women's tennis made quick work of the Warner Royals on Friday afternoon, defeating them in just under an hour, 4-0. With the Royals unable to fill the lineup, the Seahawks only needed to win one court in doubles which came on court one. In singles, the Seahawks only needed one win which came on court four.
- Vidanovic and Apisah both received wins by walkover on courts five and six to start singles
- No. 26 Mercante would get the needed point on court four, winning 6-0, 6-0
- No. 10 Tangkau, No. 24 de Mooij, and Velykorodna were all leading at the time of the clinch
When asked about today's result, Head Coach
Daniel Finn had this to say: "Today was one of those matches you just try to go out and be as focused as you can and get the job done, and that's what the girls did. They got on and off the court and now can turn focus to tomorrow."
The Seahawks have a match scheduled for tomorrow, March 22, against No. 4 Southeastern. First serve from the Beerman Family Tennis Courts in Lakeland, Fla. is set for 2:00 p.m.
