(rv) Keiser softball was defeated today by No. 18 St. Thomas in the first game of a three game series. The Seahawks are now 23-8 on the season.

Pitchers of Record: W: Toon (15-1), L: Aupont (2-1)

• Jaleila Aupont pitched the first three innings, logging three strikeouts (75 pitches)
• Maggie Miller pitched the final four innings, picking up one strikeout (62 pitches)

• Macy Schaaf went 2-3
• Genesis Iglesias hit an RBI double

• The Seahawks fought all the way with the Bobcats, but four errors and a late STU home run proved too much to overcome

KU 1, STU 0

• The Seahawks struck first when Genesis Iglesias crushed an RBI double to left field, allowing the speedy Faith Campos to score from first base

KU 1, STU 2

• St. Thomas took the lead with an RBI single and a sac-fly

KU 3, STU 2

• Keiser responded with a sac-fly from Bridget Dunham that brought home Lizzy Small
• The Seahawks went back in front when John Pryor dialed up the double steal, fooling the STU defense and allowing Ashley Bullock to sneak home

KU 3, STU 4

• The Bobcats took the lead once again with a 2 RBI double

KU 3, STU 6

• STU's Anna Toon put the game out of reach with a two-run homer to right field

The Seahawks will try to steal the series from St. Thomas tomorrow in a doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m.
