No. 19 Keiser men's basketball will make the trip to Kansas City, Mo. for the NAIA National Tournament which will begin for them on Friday, March 21. The Seahawks will face the eleven-seed, Southern Oregon, in the Round of 16 on Friday at the Municipal Auditorium at 3:00 p.m. CST

• Friday will mark the first meeting between the two teams
• Keiser is 0-4 against teams from the state of Oregon with all four matchups happening in the NAIA National Tournament

• After winning the West Palm Beach bracket to get to the final site, the Seahawks hold a 26-5 overall record
• Keiser holds a 15-13 overall record in the NAIA Tournament
• The Seahawks have never played in the NAIA Round of 16 since the field was expanded in the 2021-22 season
• Keiser got to this point by defeating Faulkner(10) in the First Round before taking down No. 9 William Woods(2) in the Second Round
• Calvin Sirmans averaged 21.0 points and 6.0 assists in those two games to lead KU
• Sirmans ranks fourth in the NAIA in assists per game at 6.4 per contest
• Just behind him was Tyreon Payne who averaged 20.0 points and 3.5 steals in the opening rounds
• Payne scored 21 points in the second half of the Second Round game to lead the Seahawks with 25 on the night
• Vincent Miszkiewicz rounded out the trio with an average of 19.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 5.5 blocks in the two wins
• Miszkiewicz continues to lead the NAIA in blocks and remains second in the league in all of the rebounding categories
• The Seahawks are the best rebounding team remaining in the field, averaging 42.3 per game
• Keiser ranks second among the remaining teams in opponent field goal percentage, allowing opponents to shoot just 38.9 percent from the field
• The Seahawks are 5-10 all-time against the remainder of the field 
• KU falls on the same side of the bracket as two teams it faced earlier this season in Baker and Freed-Hardeman
• Keiser's first opponent will be Southern Oregon who holds a 22-10 record
• The Raiders lost to the overall No. 1 seed College of Idaho in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship before defeating Montana Tech and The Master's in the Santa Clara, California bracket
• Southern Oregon is led by Elijah Jackson who is averaging 22.2 points per game in his last five contests
• The Raiders are 19th in the NAIA this season with an average of 9.8 threes made per game
• The winner of Friday's game will take on the winner of Freed-Hardeman(1) and Life(4) on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. CST
