Keiser softball picked up two wins today, sweeping a doubleheader versus Edward Waters in Jacksonville. Keiser won the first game 9-3, and run-ruled the Lady Tigers 8-0 in the second game. The Seahawks have now won four games this season against NCAA Division II schools.

- Mackenzie Masternak continued her hot start to the season, striking out five batters while getting her third win of the season
- The Seahawks put together a superb hitting and baserunning performance to take game one from the Lady Tigers

- Keiser padded its lead when Trinity Rohrer smashed a solo home run, her first as a Seahawk

- The Lady Tigers were able to bring a runner home on an RBI single, but the Seahawk infield shut down the remaining batters, and Keiser grabbed the 9-3 win.

- Freshman Anne Melle had an excellent debut, pitching a no-hitter through five innings
- Lizzy Small pitched the final inning in relief, striking out two batters
- The Seahawks kept their momentum from the first game rolling, and run-ruled the Lady Tigers in six innings

- Lizzy Small put the game in run-rule territory with an RBI single in the top of the inning, and picked up two swinging strikeouts in the bottom half of the inning to give Keiser the run-rule victory, and a doubleheader sweep

The Seahawks will take on Oklahoma Wesleyan this Tuesday in a home doubleheader, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Alumni Field.
