The No. 1-ranked Keiser women's golf finished fifth in the Babs Steffens Invitational on Tuesday February 25th. The tournament hosted by Stetson was played at the DeBary Golf and Country Club and featured 15 teams, including 12 NCAA Division I programs, with Keiser being the only NAIA team.
The result was Keiser's fifth top-5 finish of the season as the Seahawks shot a 57-over, 921 (302-307-312); six strokes back from fourth-place Queens-Charlotte (308-302-305, 915). Stetson won the tournament with a 12-over, 876 (296-285-295).
Freshman Sophia Sindersberger finished tied for fourth, shooting a 3-over 219 (76-73-70). It marked Sindersberger's second straight top-5 finish.
