Keiser softball moved to 9-3 today with a doubleheader sweep of Florida National. The Seahawks were able to put on a strong display of hitting, and
Lizzy Small put her name beside another Keiser school record.

- Mackenzie Masternak remains undefeated on the season after tossing three strikeouts (76 pitches)
- The Seahawks piled up 14 hits and pulled away in the late innings

- Lizzy Small got the win, and took possession of Keiser's career innings pitched record in the process (87 pitches)
- Anne Melle finished the game in relief, logging two strikeouts (15 pitches)
- Keiser continued to hit the ball well, scoring a season-high 10 runs

- The Conquistadors wouldn't go down easy, and cut the lead in half with back-to-back RBI doubles

- In an important situation, the Seahawks loaded the bases with two outs on the board after the FNU scoring rally
- Freshman Hollie Pabst entered the game as a pinch hitter, and sent Seahawk nation and Alumni Field into a frenzy with a booming grand slam to left field
- Pabst grand slam gave the Keiser Seahawks all the momentum they needed to close out the game, and move their record to 9-3.

The Seahawks will be in Viera, Fla. next weekend for the Space Coast Spring Games. Keiser will take on (rv) Johnson, (rv) Grand View, Bethel (Ind.), and Spring Arbor.
