No. 7 Keiser women's lacrosse rolled on Wednesday night at home, downing the Webber Warriors 21-2. The Seahawks scored the first 15 goals of the contest before Webber got on the board in the third quarter. Four different players tallied hat tricks for Keiser as Baylee Walker, Milena Isturiz, Jordyn Payne, and Isabelle Vrensen all had three goals each. They were just four of the nine different goal scorers on the night for the Seahawks. The KU defense also held strong all night, allowing just two goals on the night. 

Keiser will hit the road for their next matchup which is scheduled to take place at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Baltimore, Md. The Seahawks will be taking on No. 2 Lawrence Tech on Sunday, February 23 with the opening draw control set for 12:30 p.m.


First Quarter

Second Quarter
Keiser 11, Webber 0
  • Sydney Parker would get the Seahawks in transition early in the second, finding Payne who made it 8-0
  • Vrensen, Esher, and Frew would all follow with their second goals of the game as Keiser led by 11 going into the break


Third Quarter
Keiser 16, Webber 1
  • Keiser would continue to roll into the second half with Peyton Tomlinson and Emily McCall each scoring on free position attempts
  • Walker and Isturiz would follow with goals before Webber grabbed their first of the game with three minutes left in the third
  • Payne would finish her hat trick off an assist by Victoria Francisco to end the period and put Keiser up 16-1 going into the final 15 minutes

Fourth Quarter
Keiser 21, Webber 2
  • Vrensen opened the fourth with her third goal of the game, which was assisted by Jia Schweigert, who would get one of her own three minutes later to make it 18-1
  • Isturiz and Walker would finish their hat tricks in the fourth as well with goals 19 and 21
  • Emily Ferris split them with her first tally of the 2025 season
  • Webber's goal would end the contest with less than a minute in the contest to play and the clock running down to zero


Game Notes
  • Keiser moves to 3-0 with the win
  • The Seahawks improve to 2-0 at home and 9-0 all-time against Webber
  • Walker scored her first goal of her career and later her first hat trick of her career in the game
  • Both Payne and Isturiz scored their second hat tricks of the season
  • Vrensen had one goal coming into the contest but tallied her first hat trick of her career on the evening
  • V. Francisco led the assists category with three on the night
  • Isturiz not only scored plenty but led Keiser with six groundballs

  • Belton and Frew were big in the circle for KU with three draw controls each
  • Boutwell pitched a shutout in her half of play, recording three saves and picking up her second win
  • Keiser's 25 caused turnovers is tied for the fourth most in a game in program history
  • The Seahawks outshot the Warriors 43-11 on the evening
  • The last time Keiser won by at least 19 goals was a 22-0 result against Tennessee Wesleyan on March 9, 2023
