No. 7 Women's Lacrosse Back Home for Wednesday Contest against (rv) Webber

No. 7 Keiser women's lacrosse will be back on the home turf on Wednesday night when they face the (rv) Webber International Warriors. The opening draw control from the Multi-Purpose Field in West Palm Beach, Fla. is set for 6:00 p.m.

  • At the half, KU found themselves trailing 4-3, but a 10-1 run to start the second half put the Seahawks in control
  • In that game, Jordyn Payne led the way for Keiser with three goals and three assists
  • Just behind her were a trio of players with two goals each (Samantha Esher, Kate Griffin, and Milena Isturiz)
  • For the second game in a row, six players on the Seahawks were credited with an assist in the game
  • Isturiz had four groundballs and six draw controls as she continues to lead the Seahawks in both categories
  • For her efforts, she was named Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week
  • 14 different Seahawks were credited with a caused turnover against the Gyrenes as everybody is getting involved in the defensive effort
  • Cassidy Green started the game for KU, recording four saves, but it was Raelyn Boutwell who came in at the half and nabbed five saves to get the win
  • Webber International started their season on Saturday, defeating Montreat 18-1 at home
  • The Warriors were led by Bryce Gerber who tallied five goals and a pair of assists in the contest
  • Jordyn Davidson, who will likely hit her 500th career save in the game will likely get the nod for the Warriors in net
