A dominant fourth-quarter performance lifted the Keiser women's basketball team to a decisive 73-57 victory over Webber International on Wednesday evening. The Seahawks got off to a slow start, but a crucial second-half surge secured the win scoring 24 points in the fourth quarter.
Holding a narrow one-point lead at halftime, the Seahawks turned up the intensity in the third quarter, breaking down Webber International's defense. Avrie Schmidt led the way with a season-high 15 points and five rebounds, while Elise Ellison added 14 points and eight boards.
