Keiser men's basketball continued its strong play at home with a decisive 93-76 victory over Thomas on Saturday night at the Student Life Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. The win extends the Seahawks' winning streak and improves their home record to 6-0 on the season.

The game was competitive early as Thomas took a brief 40-38 lead late in the first half, but Keiser closed the period strong with a 6-0 run to take a 44-40 advantage into the break. The turning point came early in the second half when Keiser opened with a 7-2 run to extend its lead to nine points. Thomas attempted to stay within striking distance, but Loghan Downie connected on a three-pointer early in the second that pushed the lead to seven and shifted momentum firmly in Keiser's favor. From there, the Seahawks took control. A strong stretch midway through the second half saw Keiser extend its advantage to as many as 22 points with 9:18 remaining. A pair of three's from Camerin James highlighted the run as the forward knocked down his first two three-pointers of the season.

Jaylen Lee led the way with a 20-point performance on 8-of-15 shooting. The junior guard also contributed four assists, three steals, and two blocks in a two-way effort. James added 19 points and five rebounds, while Downie chipped in 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Cameron Baldwin was once again a force to be dealt with, recording 12 points and six rebounds in 19 minutes. Braylen Meredith provided a spark with 11 points and six rebounds, including five offensive boards, while Jonathan Paul controlled the glass with eight rebounds in 14 minutes.

Keiser returns to action next week for the Seahawks Christmas Classic hosting three teams for a three-day tournament. The Seahawks will play Morningside on Wednesday, December 17 at home with a tipoff set for 6:00 p.m.
