WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Keiser continued its strong early-season form on Friday night, delivering an 84–43 lopsided win over Fort Lauderdale in what marked the fourth consecutive game the Seahawks have faced a team named the Eagles. Behind a career-high 30 points from senior guard Satori Griffin and a decisive third-quarter surge, Keiser moved to 2–0 at home inside the Student Life Center.
Griffin set the pace almost immediately. She buried her first three triples within the opening three minutes, two assisted by Carolina de Domingo. By the end of the first quarter, Griffin had already stacked up 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 6-of-10 from deep. Her early shot-making stretched the floor and forced Fort Lauderdale into repeated mismatches, giving Keiser room to operate on both ends.
Keiser's defensive pressure dictated the game from there. The Seahawks forced 15 turnovers in the first half and finished with 27 for the night, using those giveaways to generate 27 points. Jasmyn Hale added eight first-half points and was active on the glass, helping Keiser hold a 21–12 rebounding edge through one quarter.
The key separation came in the third quarter. Up 38–28 at halftime, Keiser opened the second half on a 14–3 run that created the first major cushion of the night. The stretch began with Avrie Schmidt knocking down two free throws, followed by a strong finish from Hale at the rim. Moments later, de Domingo drew a foul and converted at the line, and Aly Avrach capped the surge with a corner three that pushed the lead to 53–31. During that span, Keiser's defensive pressure forced repeated empty possessions from Fort Lauderdale, and the Seahawks turned each stop into organized transition offense.
By the time the fourth quarter began, the Seahawks had stretched their lead to 67–37. Keiser moved the ball well in the final frame, securing 22 assists on 28 made shots overall. Bench contributions rounded out the night, with Aly Avrach scoring 10 points and freshman Mikaiah Hallback grabbing four rebounds while going 3-for-4 at the line. The Seahawks finished the game shooting 41.2 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from three, and 75 percent at the stripe, while holding Fort Lauderdale to just 18.8 percent shooting in the fourth quarter.
Keiser controlled the glass 48–34, won the turnover battle by 12, and never trailed at any point.
