The Sun Conference announced its 2025 football position award winners on Thursday afternoon. Junior left tackle
Tyler Carlson was selected as Offensive Lineman of the Year in the Sun Conference.
SUN Conference Awards for Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, and Champion of Character will be announced on Friday.

- Becomes the second Seahawks to earn SUN Offensive Lineman of the Year recognition (Jude Gurrier in 2024, Scarlee Jean in 2023)
- Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
- Started in all nine games at left tackle
- Has helped the Keiser offense average 501.2 yards per game (No. 6 in the NAIA)
- The Seahawks produced over 400 yards of total offense in every game this season
- On the ground, the Seahawks lead the SUN averaging 219.6 yards per game
- Keiser is also the top passing team in the league with 281.7 yards per game
- The Seahawks rushed for a school-record 398 yards versus Thomas (Ga.) (10/4)
- The Keiser offense also set the school record for total offense (692 vs Thomas – 10/4)
- KU reached the 500-yard plateau in four games (692 – TU – 10/4; 517 – STU – 10/18; 532 – AMU – 11/1; 566- WU – 11/15)
- The Seahawks are No. 11 in the NAIA is scoring (41.8 ppg)
The Seahawks will host the Second Round of the NAIA Football Championship Series on Saturday, November 29. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 PM.
