No. 2 Football Earns 13 All-Sun Conference Selections in 2025

The 2025 All-Sun Conference Football Teams were announced on Thursday as voted on by the league's eight head coaches. This year's teams feature 27 first-team selections, and 27 second-team honorees.

Keiser recorded 13 all-conference honors, including a league best eight first-team selections.

The Sun Conference Position Awards (Back of the Year, Receiver of the Year, Offensive Lineman of the Year, Defensive Lineman of the Year, Linebacker of the Year, and Defensive Back of the Year) were also announced on Thursday.

SUN Conference Awards for Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, and Champion of Character will be announced on Friday.
 

First-Team All-Conference
Linebacker
Eli Bertrand, Third Year, Sebring, Fla.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks
  • Leads the team in total tackles (65 – No. 3 in the SUN)
  • Has recorded 6.0 for loss and 1.5 sacks with two pass breakups and one quarterback hurry
  • Set the school record for tackles in a game with 17 at Indiana Wesleyan (8/30)
 
Offensive Line
Tyler Carlson, Third Year, Key West, Fla.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Started in all nine games at left tackle
  • Has helped the Keiser offense average 501.2 yards per game (No. 6 in the NAIA)
  • On the ground, the Seahawks lead the SUN averaging 219.6 yards per game
  • Keiser is also the top passing team in the league with 281.7 yards per game
  • The Seahawks are No. 11 in the NAIA is scoring (41.8 ppg)
 
All-Purpose
Dallas Desouza, First Year, West Palm Beach, Fla.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Started in eight games for the Seahawks
  • Has tallied 47 catches for 626 yards and five receiving touchdowns
  • Leads the conference in yards receiving per game (78.3)
  • Also added 176 yards on seven kick returns (25.1 per return)
 
Wide Receiver
Elisha Edwards, Third Year, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Started in all nine games for the Seahawks
  • Has recorded 47 catches for team-high 672 yards and five receiving touchdowns
  • No. 3 in the conference in yards receiving per game (74.7)
  • Recorded 100 receiving yards three times this season, including a career-high 120 yards versus St. Thomas (10/18)
 
Defensive Line
Tai Lologo, Fourth Year, Huntsville, Ala.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the second straight year
  • Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks
  • Has recorded 16 total tackles with 6.0 tackles for loss and two sacks
  • Also has two quarterback hurries, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery
  • Collected the first interception of his Keiser career with a pick against Thomas (Ga.) (10/4)
 
Running Back
Jaden Miller, Second Year, Miami, Fla.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Started in all nine games for the Seahawks
  • Leads the team in rushing with 896 yards (No. 2 in the conference and No. 20 in the NAIA)
  • Leads the conference in rushing yards per game (99.6) and touchdowns (16 – No. 6 in the NAIA)
  • A two-time Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week

Blake Perry, Fourth Year, Morehead, Ky.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the second straight year
  • Started in all nine games at center

Shea Spencer, Fourth Year, Vero Beach, Fla.
  • Named a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Started in all nine games for the Seahawks
  • Completed 185-of-269 (68.8 percent) for 2,441 yards and 20 touchdowns
  • Ranks No. 3 in the NAIA in completion percentage and No. 9 in yards per game (271.2)
  • A two-time Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week
 

Second-Team All-Conference
Tight End
Ben Hayes, Second Year, Louisville, Ky.
  • Named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Appeared in nine games for the Seahawks
  • Recorded 17 catches for 174 yards and four receiving touchdowns
  • Had a career-high five catches for 57 yards at Indiana Wesleyan (8/30)
  • Key part of the Keiser running game that has produced 1,976 yards on the ground
 
Offensive Line
Isaac Filsaime, Second Year, West Palm Beach, Fla.
  • Named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Appeared in eight games for the Seahawks
  • Has helped the Keiser offense average 501.2 yards per game (No. 6 in the NAIA)
  • On the ground, the Seahawks lead the SUN averaging 219.6 yards per game

Robert Lane, Third Year, West Palm Beach, Fla.

Chandler Perceval, First Year, Fort Pierce, Fla.
  • Named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks
  • Finished the regular season with 22 total tackles (10 solo)
  • Led the team with three interceptions and five pass breakups
  • Also recorded 1.5 tackles for loss

Dillon Simon, Fourth Year, Sebring, Fla.
  • Named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection for the first time in his career
  • Appeared in eight games for the Seahawks
  • Finished the regular season with 605 yards on 82 carries and nine rushing touchdowns
  • Ranks No. 3 in the SUN in rushing yards per game (75.6)
  • Named the Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 6
 

The Seahawks will host the Second Round of the NAIA Football Championship Series on Saturday, November 29. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 PM.
