The Seahawks volleyball team is set to host Ave Maria this Wednesday night for their second-to-last regular season match. Keiser enters the contest with significant momentum, having just secured a 3-1 victory over Southeastern, handing the Fire only their third loss of the season. The win was a true team effort, highlighted by impressive double-double performances from the dynamic duo of setter Mallory Dills and outside hitter Cece Worsham. Both players earned Sun Conference of the Week honors for their outstanding play.
Dills, who posted an exceptional 60 assists, also earned the national distinction of being named NAIA Setter of the Week earlier this afternoon. Offensively, the Seahawks were efficient, with three players recording double-digit kills and the team hitting over the .200 mark. Defensively, the back row was anchored by Makenzi Bennett and Cece Worsham, who led the team with 20 and 21 digs, respectively, with Worsham's effort marking her best double-double performance of the season.
