Beginning Sun Conference play this weekend, the Seahawks volleyball team will travel to Lake Wales, Fla., to take on the Royals of Warner. Keiser has won nine straight matches and have not dropped a set in seven.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, the Seahawks were mentioned in the Top 25 NAIA as receiving votes (56) after their impressive 5-0 performance over the weekend in Williamsburg, Ky., and Athens, Tenn. This performance led to Mackenzie Pryor being named the Sun Attacker of the Week for the third consecutive week and later being named the NAIA Attacker of the Week, marking the first national award of her career. Additionally, Faith Marquis earned her second Sun Defender of the Week honor for her performance this past weekend.

 

• Saturday will mark the 40th all-time meeting between the Seahawks and the Royals
• The Seahawks trail in the series history, 19-21. Keiser has not lost to Warner since 2018, having won 11 straight matches
• Since 2019, the Seahawks have dropped only two sets to the Royals, with one of those coming in last year's match in November
• In their most recent contest, Hannah Heide recorded 37 assists, and Abby Lestser tallied two aces
•  The Seahawks are 8-12 all-time against the Royals in games played in Lake Wales, Fla.
• Saturday will also be the 36th conference match between the two teams
• Keiser trails the conference series history by just one match, 17-18.

• Junior attacker Mackenzie Pryor leads the NAIA in kills with 269
• The nearest competitor to Pryor's 269 kills is 48 behind her
•  The Hagerstown, Md., native ranks second in the nation in kills per set with 5.38. Pryor leads the Sun Conference in both categories
• Frederica Silva reached 100 kills for the season over the weekend against Tennessee Wesleyan
• The Seahawks are first in the NAIA in total kills (728) and assists (683) and second in total service aces (118)
• Hannah Heide leads the nation in assists with 510
• The school record holder in career assists is on track to reach 5,000, currently sitting at 4,685
• Faith Marquis ranks third in the nation in digs with 268. The reigning Sun Defensive Player of the Week is also second in the conference with 33 service aces
• Only five Seahawks have recorded more than 10 service aces this season: Heide, Pryor, Lestser, Marquis, and Silva
• Keiser received two Sun Conference awards this past week, with Mackenzie Pryor being named Attacker of the Week and earning national recognition as the NAIA Attacker of the Week. Faith Marquis was named Sun Defensive Player of the Week
