No. 2 Women's Soccer Ready for Road Fixture with Florida Memorial Before Seeing St. Thomas at Home on Saturday

After a week off the pitch, Keiser women's soccer returns to action with a pair of Sun Conference games against Florida Memorial on Wednesday and St. Thomas on Saturday. Kickoff on Wednesday from Dr. Lester Brown Park in Miami Gardens, Fla. is set for 1:00 p.m. while Saturday's start from Arrigo-Vecellio Field in West Palm Beach, Fla. is set for noon.

  • Keiser is a perfect 16-0 all-time against Florida Memorial

  • Maria Vilhena scored the opening goal and broke the tie again in the 83rd minute to secure her first brace for KU
  • The two goals in the game were enough for Vilhena to secure Sun Conference Player of the Week honors on Monday
  • Olivia Pousette and Lauren Riley also tallied goals for the Seahawks in the win
  • Riley and Vilhena are now tied for the team lead in goals this season with five each
  • Julia Forslund, Ramona Kannady, and Georgia Little all grabbed an assist in the contest
  • Lina Gröbner continues to lead the team in assists this season with three, just in front of 12 of her teammates that have registered at least one assist on the year
  • Maude Rouanet improved to 5-0 last week as the keeper has started every game for Keiser this season
  • Florida Memorial enters Wednesday's game after falling to Edward Waters and St. Thomas in their most recent matchups
  • Prior to that, the Lions started the season 4-0 thanks largely to Sierra Bartley who has scored eight times for FMU
