Box Score Keiser men's tennis closed out their final day at the ITA Regional Championships with a singles title. The men went 2-1 in singles play to close out the tournament.

Shaheed Alam began his day with a matchup against his teammate Didrk Liljekvist in the semifinal. Alam would come out on top, 7-5, 6-2 to advance to the championship. In the championship, top-seeded Alam would face the three-seed from SCAD, Danil Ozernoy. The two-time runner-up would finally get his glory as he defeated Ozernoy 6-3, 6-0. The singles title is the fifth straight for the Seahawks and ninth in program history.




Head Coach Robert McAdoo said, "Proud of the young men that played this weekend. They showed tremendous character just by being here. Playing tennis with a heavy heart isn't easy, and I know my young men did the best they could. Emotionally, spiritually, and mentally, they deserve a rest. The courage and toughness they displayed convinced me that they will all be strong men!"
