The Keiser men's soccer team was defeated today in a neutral site game versus the University of the Cumberlands. Keiser was able to fire off 15 shots with two on goal, but none found the net and the Seahawks were unable to answer three Patriot goals.
- Keiser was on the attack early in the match, with two shots in the first 90 seconds of the game
- 10 minutes into the match, a Keiser foul gave UC a possession that led to a Patriot goal
- Six minutes later, the Patriots doubled their lead with a goal following a Keiser missed shot, and a foul
- Three minutes into the second half, Cumberlands scored the final goal of the game
- A corner kick seven minutes afterward gave Keiser an opportunity to score, but shots by Gabi Villafane and Aldair Chavez were both blocked
- Keiser put three more shots on the board, but none were able to cross the line as the game came to an end 3-0
- Keiser now moves to 24-47-9 against the NAIA top 25
- The Seahawks are now 0-1 against Cumberlands (Ky.)
- Nine Seahawks played the full 90 minutes
- Santiago Nebot was credited with six saves
- UC was whistled for ten fouls, and KU was called for 14
- Keiser was outshot 15-24
- The Seahawks took four corner kicks.

The Seahawks will have a week off before hosting No. 22 Florida National on Monday, September 9.
