Keiser men's tennis opened their fall schedule at the ITA Regionals in Lakeland, Fla. on Thursday. The men went 12-1 in singles play while going 4-2 in doubles.

The day began with singles matches as Shaheed Alam and Didrik Liljekvist would get free passes into the Round of 32. Yassir Kilani, Andrej Krajcik, Gilad Tamar, Simone Boscatto, and Felipe Rivadeneira all joined them after capturing wins in the opening round. The second round opponents would suffer the same fate for all of the Keiser players as the Seahawks moved eight players into the Round of 16. In doubles, top-seeded Alam and Liljekvist were impressive with an 8-0 win after receiving a first-round bye, while Boscatto and Rivadeneira joined them in the quarterfinals following two wins of their own. The two remaining KU doubles teams could be set for a meeting in the semifinal tomorrow if they were to advance.
