Keiser men's soccer remained unbeaten in Sun Conference play this afternoon versus the visiting Southeastern Fire. The Seahawks were able to put four goals on the board and pull away from the Fire in the second half to win their second straight game.
Gabi Villafane recorded a career-high three assists.
- Keiser was able to strike quickly in the early minutes as the Seahawks took a 1-0 lead on a goal from Manu Cordeviola, thanks to a Gabi Villafane assist
- 19 minutes into the match, Southeastern took advantage of a Keiser defensive miscue and tied the game with an unassisted goal
- The tie would not last long. The Seahawks reclaimed the lead forty seconds later with Coredviola's second goal of the game on another Villafane assist
- At the 38:40 mark, Southeastern had a chance 1-v-1 with the keeper to tie the game, but Santiago Nebot made a critical save to keep the lead in favor of Keiser
- In the second half, neither team was able to score for the first 33 minutes with the two squads taking shots to no avail while trading fouls and yellow cards
- With 17 minutes to go in the game, Keiser padded its lead with Mikael Baisotti's first goal of the season, and Villafane's career-best third assist
- The Seahawks put the game away with nine minutes remaining when a shot from Baisotti deflected off the chest of Aldair Chavez for a KU goal
- The Seahawks are now 17-6-4 against SEU
- Three Seahawks played the full 90 minutes
- Santiago Nebot picked up five saves
- Southeastern was whistled for 12 fouls and KU was called for 15
- The Seahawks out-shot the Fire, 22-15
- Keiser took seven corner kicks
- Keiser men's soccer has not lost to Southeastern since October of 2019 (7-0-2)

The Seahawks will face Spartanburg Methodist at home next Monday. Kickoff from Arrigo-Vecellio field is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
