The Keiser volleyball team finished day one of the Faulkner Invitational with a 2-0 record. The Seahawks took down two first-time opponents, Williams Baptist (3-0; 25-8,25-8,25-11) and Freed-Hardeman (3-1; (25-18, 25-21, 24-26, 25-14). With today's wins, the Seahawks improve to 7-2 overall claiming, their first victories on the road this season.

- Keiser took the set over Williams Baptist not allowing the Eagles to reach double-digit points.

- The Seahawks went on a 10-0 run before the Eagles called a timeout.
- Finishing the second set with the same score as the first, a 17-point victory.
SET 3 (KU, 25-11)
- Keiser continued to dominate Williams Baptist, finishing the clean sweep with a 14-point victory.

- The Seahawks never trailed in set one taking a 5-1 lead early on.
- Keiser extended their lead by eight points, leading 16-8.
- The Seahawks finished the set with a seven-point victory.
SET 2 (KU, 25-21)
- Keiser and Freed-Hardeman went neck-and-neck as the two went back and forth for points.
- For the majority of the set, the score stayed within two until Keiser took the victory 25-21.
SET 3 (FHU, 26-24)
- The Seahawks and Eagles continued to battle with a close scoring set.
- Keiser drew a four-point lead over Freed-Hardeman 14-10 however, the Eagles went on a four-point run to tie the set up.
- Trailing 23-21, the Seahawks were searching for a come-from-behind victory.
- Keiser fell short dropping the third set 24-26.
SET 4 (KU, 25-14)
- Keiser came into set four looking to close out the victory.
- The Seahawks took an 18-8 lead over the Lions not looking back.
- The dominant victory of set four sealed the Seahawks 2-0 day.
- Keiser moves to 7-2 on the year with day one of the Faulkner Invitational complete.
- With the pair of wins, Head Coach James Rogers moves to 169-71 all-time.
- Friday featured two first-time opponents for the Seahawks.
- The Seahawks notch their first road victories of the season.
