The Sun Conference announced the 2024 Preseason Men's Soccer Coaches Poll on Monday morning with Keiser picked to finish second in the conference. The 2024 Sun Conference Preseason Men's Soccer Coaches' Poll was voted on by the conference's nine head coaches.
Top of the League
- St. Thomas was selected as the favorite to win the conference, with 61 points and six first place votes.
- Keiser was right behind the Bobcats, with 58 votes along with two votes for first place.
A Look Back at Last Season
- Last season, the Seahawks went 12-4-6 and claimed their second straight Sun Conference Tournament Championship with a 1-1 (7-6 PK) double overtime victory against St. Thomas.
- The Seahawks finished the season at the NAIA Final Site versus Indiana Tech, ranked No. 11 in the nation.
- Aldair Chavez and Jack Casey were honored as United Soccer Coaches All-Americans.
- Six Seahawks were picked for the All-Sun Conference team.
Looking Ahead to the 2024 Season
- The Seahawks will return Mikael Baisotti and Aldair Chavez, KU's leading goal scorers from last season, as well as goalkeeper Santiago Nebot.
- Keiser will open the season in Atlanta, Ga. on August 31 to take on Bethel University.
