(rv) Baseball fell to the No. 2-seed Warriors of Webber 12-5 on day two of the Sun Conference Championship tournament. Andrew Almendarez led the Seahawk batters notching three RBIs. With the loss from Webber the Seahawks will play Ave Maria in game eight on Saturday May 4 at 2:30 pm.

  • This is the fourth time in program history these two teams have faced each other in the Sun Conference tournament.
  • The Seahawks move to 30-38 all-time against the Warriors.
  • Keiser is now tied 2-2 against Webber in postseason play.
  • Webber took the lead in the top of the first after Recio grounded out into a double play.
  • Palmer Hutchison put the Seahawks on the board in the bottom of the third with a clutch single that drove home Ruiz.
  • The Seahawks started to come back in the bottom of the eighth as Andrew Almendarez scored Grinberg for the game's final run on a ground-out to third.
  • Junior pitcher Danny Galvan took the loss, pitching 1.1 innings.
