The Keiser Athletic Department announced the 2024 Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Month for the month of April on Tuesday. This month's winners, sophomore
Violet Apisah and senior
Soufiane El Mesbahi, have been recognized for their play during the month.
The Seahawks HHS Athletes of the Month winners will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
Violet Apisah, Second Year, Sydney, Australia
- Guided Keiser to a 5-1 record during the month
- Helped Keiser claim both the Sun Conference regular season and tournament titles
- Named the Sun Conference Player of the Year and part of the SUN Doubles Team of the Year
- Posted a singles record of 4-1 during the month
- Finished the month with a 5-0 mark in double action
- Named the Sun Conference Athlete of the Week two times
- Also was a two-time NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week
- On the year, Apisah is 28-6 (19-4 in dual matches) in singles
Soufiane El Mesbahi, Fourth Year, Tangier, Morocco
- Led Keiser to a 7-1 overall record during the month, including 2-0 in the Sun Conference
- Helped Keiser claim both the Sun Conference regular season and tournament titles
- Named the SUN Player of the Year
- Also part of the SUN Doubles Team of the Year
- Named the Sun Conference Player of the Week two times during the month
- Posted a 6-0 mark in singles play and was 6-1 in doubles action
- On the year, El Masbahi has registered a mark of 22-3 overall in singles play
