Keiser's bid for the team's first National Championship came up short on Friday as the Seahawks fell to the Ottawa (Kan.) Braves, 26-6, in the NAIA Women's Flag Football Championship Game. The Seahawks could not over come two costly turnovers in the red zone, suffering just the team's second loss of the season.
Brenna Ramirez recorded a career-best 132 yards on 13 catches in the game.
Brianna Hernandez-Silva caught the only touchdown of the game for the Seahawks, posting eight catches for 82 yards.
Jazmin Rhoden completed 27-of-39 passes for 274 yards and one touchdown. Defensively,
Sydney Woodman notched a team-high eight flag pulls to go along with two pass breakups.
Keiser wraps up its best season of flag football, finishing the year with an 18-2 record while claiming both the Sun Conference Regular Season and Tournament crowns.

- The Seahawks opened the game with the ball and drove to the OU 20-yard line.
- On first-and-goal from the 20, the Braves picked off Jazmin Rhoden, taking possession of the ball at the Keiser two-yard line (7:19).
- Keiser responded by taking the ball back as Ashlea Klam intercepted a pass by Madysen Carrera, giving the Seahawks the ball at the Ottawa 25-yard line (4:35).
Ottawa (Kan.) 13, Keiser 6
- After keeping Keiser out of the endzone on a fourth-and-goal from the nine-yard line, Ottawa drove 71 yards on 10 plays for the game's first score.
- Carrera completed an eight-yard pass to Addison Osborn with 4:48 left in the half.
- With the missed extra point, the Braves led, 6-0.
- The Seahawks tied the game on their ensuing possession as Rhoden connected with Brianna Hernandez-Silva for a 15-yard score.
- Unable to convert the extra point, the game was tied, 6-6, with 1:54 on the game clock.
- The Braves regained the lead with 20 second remaining in the half as Jazlyn Camacho hauled in an eight-yard pass from Carrera.
- After a successful extra-point attempt, OU led 13-6.
Ottawa (Kan.) 19, Keiser 6
- The Braves scored the lone touchdown of the quarter as Carrera completed a five-yard pass to Alyssa Linkous to push the deficit to 13.
- The OU drive ate up 7:03 off the game clock as Keiser took the ball for its first drive of the second half with 4:57 left in the third.
- The Seahawks closed out the quarter, driving down the field to the Brave's seven-yard line.
Ottawa (Kan.) 26, Keiser 6
- On the first play of the fourth quarter, OU's Dejonice Parris intercepted a Rhoden pass at the Brave's two-yard line and returned 20-yards.
- Ottawa took advantage of the turnover, scoring on its next possession with a three-yard pass from Carrera to Linkous.
- With the made extra point, Ottawa led, 26-6, with 4:16 left to play.
